SAP-Solution: Datasphere

What moves IT decision-makers. The SAP Summit organized by IT consulting company BTC will take place in June 2025. Trends such as Grow vs. Rise, BTP and AI will be highlighted for the third time. A look back shows how a lively exchange of experiences with added value for the participants was already created in 2024.
SAP Datasphere Knowledge Graph for better data visualization and SAP partnership with Collibra for AI governance.
E3 Magazine spoke with Greg Murphy, Staff Product Marketing Manager at Confluent, about Confluent's data streaming platform and its integration with SAP Datasphere on the BTP.
Datasphere is designed to provide a unified solution for managing business-critical enterprise data. Whether and how companies benefit from this also depends on the interaction with Analytics Cloud and Data Intelligence Cloud.
After the presentation of SAP Datasphere comes the next data structure topic. SAP and Google have expanded their partnership and presented a comprehensive open data offering.
Four years ago, Franz Färber, then SAP EVP, presented the concept of the Data Hub at Sapphire in Orlando. Incompatibilities and data silos were to be a thing of the past. Every app should have access to every type of data. Datasphere now promises the same.
Volume frameworks and data structures are the basis of every successful business app. With this in mind, SAP has been trying to implement Gartner's data fabric paradigm for many years, first with Data Hub and now Datasphere.
There is a new version of the legendary Data Hub at SAP. Because the former project failed miserably, it was quietly disposed of and is now to be replaced by Datasphere together with partners beyond the SAP community.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
