SAP Solution: DMI

It all started with MDM, Master Data Management. Many years ago, MDM was the first initiative on the IT scene to shine the spotlight on the topic of data economy, which gave rise to many constructs and buzzwords. Another milestone was the start of the S/4 conversion, which was when the topic of algorithms and data structures emerged.
Bill Clinton's campaign slogan "It's the economy, stupid!" also applies to the transformation to S/4. Only those who can reduce the mass of SAP and non-SAP data before and after the migration will win the race against time and save cash.
Nothing works without data structures, right? I am influenced by my computer science studies and the associated activity of programming in the Pascal language. Pascal was developed by Professor Niklaus Wirth at the ETH Zurich. The standard textbook "Algorithms and Data Structures" exists for this. In the E-3 conversation with the CEO and founder of Data Migration International, Thomas Failer,...
When moving SAP to the cloud, it makes no sense to take relational databases with 10, 15 or 20 TB of data volume with them for cost reasons. CIOs and SAP managers are therefore rediscovering an old topic: archiving.
With Thomas Failer, founder and Group CEO of Data Migration International, E-3 Editor-in-Chief Peter M. Färbinger had an in-depth conversation in Switzerland against a magnificent backdrop about the breadth of tasks, trends in the SAP community and also historical developments.
Mergers, acquisitions, buy-outs, carve-outs and spin-outs are supposed to make companies more agile, but they often lead to complex IT projects with far-reaching organizational consequences. It doesn’t have to be that way, though.
Data Migration International, Swiss information management specialist, achieved the best quarterly results in the company's history, benefiting from continued strong demand, a growing partner ecosystem and intensive collaboration with SAP.
The success of big data and digitalization projects hinges on master data quality. If data quality is inadequate, the benefit of using said data to optimize business processes and models becomes questionable.
Orbis and Data Migration International (DMI) have agreed on a partnership around S/4 Hana.
No monthly SAP news should be disregarded. The Short Facts are dedicated to smaller news items as well as seemingly more or less important statements from the community. This is the place for SAP-specific press releases that otherwise tend to be overlooked.
The Hana and S/4 transformation is preordained for almost all existing SAP customers. In theory, there is nothing to be said against this version change. In practice, however, many individual challenges and options arise. SAP has provided a solid framework and generic tools for a successful transfer. In detail, SAP partner Data Migration International knows how to prepare the existing ERP systems for the release change...

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
