SAP-Solution: Extra

Volume frameworks and data structures are the basis of every successful business app. With this in mind, SAP has been trying to implement Gartner's data fabric paradigm for many years, first with Data Hub and now Datasphere.
Infrastructure challenges were and are high for SAP Basis managers and employees in companies. Targeted automation solutions are in fact the only way to get a grip on the many tasks and activities.
Today, SAP forms the backbone of many companies across different industries. To ensure continuous business operations, the systems must be operated with high performance, security and as little downtime as possible.
With its "Rise with SAP" and the so-called "Business Transformation as a Service", SAP is cheering a move to the cloud. The promise of "everything from a single source" sounds tempting - but what aspects should companies pay attention to and consider?
The most important thing for successful implementation is a precise overview of the individual areas of the SAP landscape that is currently in operation. But this is often not the case. And because many companies lack the necessary IT specialists internally, they delay the changeover.
Which cable belongs where in which switch? How much RAM does a particular computing unit need and how do I best connect it to the others to make the best use of resources? Is the hardware compatible at all?
The transformation to an intelligent and sustainable company begins and ends with the transformation and optimization of business processes and is supported by technological innovation of the SAP applications used.
"Cloud, yes - but first in the form of a hybrid cloud." This is the strategy favored by the majority of German SAP users. Such an approach can be implemented with the Cloud Volumes Platform from NetApp in combination with solutions from Fujitsu.
SAP once said "Run simple," but nothing came of it. The S/4 transformation is a big piece of work if the existing SAP customer does not leave it at a technical release change.
According to a DSAG trend survey, around 39 percent of SAP customers plan to complete the switch to SAP S/4HANA between 2022 and 2024.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
