SAP Solution: HPC

What is the most innovative technology of the future? AI or IoT, you might think - but if you believe German companies, it's high performance computing (HPC).
Large companies have long since discovered it for themselves: Predictive maintenance of industrial plants and machines is the trend of the moment in the field of Industrial IoT.
Hybrid systems already offer interesting economic advantages: globally, two-thirds of companies already claim to be ahead of their competitors thanks to hybrid clouds.
New features in existing solutions were the focus of this year's PBS Software Information Day. So was a new development called PBS Operational Analytics for ERP (OA4ERP). The solution offering of the long-standing SAP partner is already in the starting blocks for S/4 and BW/4 Hana use.
According to a recent IDC study, 60 percent of German companies are already in the cloud, and 57 percent plan to deploy hybrid systems in the next 24 months.
The use of a new component in industrial production is often a tour de force: Product-specific adaptations must be communicated uniformly from development to sales.
Bullion servers from Bull, the Atos brand of technology products and software, show top performance, according to the Standard Performance Evaluation Cooperative (SPEC) international benchmark.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
