Digital invoices are catching on, but it's hard to say goodbye to paper.

November 27, 2020 is approaching: the deadline when all invoices for public contracts in Germany must be issued and sent electronically. The standard format for data exchange is XInvoice.

Software from the cloud or installed locally - this need not be a contradiction. Billing and ordering processes, for example, are ideal for implementing 2-tier strategies.

With the enhanced xSuite, isolated technical solutions can be eliminated and end-to-end digital processes can be established.

Securing and controlling complex processes is a central task for companies today. SAP provides a number of tools that - when combined correctly - can form the technical basis for this.

Sending business documents from SAP ERP by e-mail is only possible to a limited extent with the standard functions. Orders, purchase orders, delivery bills and invoices are still sent by mail. The remedy is an add-on that allows business correspondence to be delivered directly from the ERP system by e-mail.
