SAP-Solution: Lizenzgebühren

In a week's time, the E3 editorial team will be publishing a report on SAP licenses in our German May 2024 issue, with the recommendation that companies should perhaps select a larger cloud license package than is currently necessary in certain situations. Why is that?
Is the cloud real for an existing SAP customer? Yes, sometimes - but in many cases it is out of reach. Cloud computing is not the issue. More license fees are the goal.
Surrounded by walls of legally questionable clauses and numerous stumbling blocks - which he can only escape with excessive payments - the SAP customer faces the mission of escaping SAP unscathed.
In the past, some SAP customers had to make subsequent license requests based on license terms that could be found in the SAP PKL but had not been actively communicated.
More and more companies are now realizing how important it is to license and manage software correctly. For some time now, the focus has been on indirect use - for SAP customers, this is the biggest risk factor in licensing.
We have too! We even have several Chief Digital Officers (CDO) around the world, but they worry about digital use and business cases, not whether one of our suppliers or customers gets billed with a credit card transaction. At SAP, once again, everything is different.
DSAG and SAP are once again a harmonious pair, prescribing ways for existing customers to stay fit for innovation. Unofficially, other problems plague SAP users. As writer Peter Handke once pointed out in "The Inside World of the Outside World of the Inside World.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
