SAP Solution: MDM

The refrigeration system manufacturer Hauser spent two years optimizing its master data for global S/4 use. With software and services from Simus Systems, the MDM team was able to build a golden client for a secure migration that supports further automation and digitalization.
Master data management is not usually considered particularly sexy. Yet the management of static basic data or reference data is one of the essential tasks of today's corporate management.
Under the umbrella of the Master Data Alliance, the IT consulting companies msg, Sigma IT, YellowGround and Micropole are jointly launching a pan-European collaboration.
Through the cooperation of Uniserv and MSG, companies now have a common point of contact for technology, consulting and service.
Many companies have recognized that digital transformation is inadequately supported by traditional methods of data management (MDM), software creation and delivery, yet traditional approaches continue to dominate.
Not only since the advent of Big Data has data quality been at the top of the agenda for IT managers in companies. Sustainability cannot be achieved here with harmonization and consolidation of ERP systems alone.
From our point of view, it is still highly interesting to follow SAP's mobility strategy.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
