SAP Solution: Middleware

With Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI), SAP provides middleware for integrating business applications on a common platform. This makes sense, but is not suitable for every SAP customer.

The person who should be doing Operations is now doing Development at SAP. The world is upside down: Chief Technology Officer Jürgen Müller has disappeared and his colleague on the Executive Board, Chief Operation Officer Christian Klein, is doing his job.

To enable automation in the sense of Industry 4.0, a large number of systems in the company must be able to communicate with each other, including PLC systems, the ERP system, the manufacturing execution system, printers and databases.
