Combating the shortage of skilled workers is not just a task for the state. Companies can also do a lot here - with targeted training programs and trust in their employees. The IT service provider Nagarro shows what is possible.
While many respondents worldwide are looking to change jobs in the next twelve months, their awareness of career and training opportunities in technical professions is still relatively low.
According to Lünendonk, leading midmarket IT consultancies grew faster than the overall market in 2018 despite a high shortage of skilled workers.
The proportion of women in the ICT industry has increased only slightly since 2015. In 2017, 28 percent of all employees in IT were women. That is an increase of four percentage points compared to 2015.
Women are conquering universities and already work side by side with their male colleagues in many professions - but in IT they are still considered exotic even today. Just 15 percent of employees in German IT departments are female.
The EU Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) published on March 3, 2017, puts Germany in only eleventh place in the EU - and has even dropped two places since the previous year.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion. 

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
