SAP Solution: RPA

It was with great astonishment that I read the text "AI agents are turning Salesforce and SAP into rivals. Artificial intelligence is blurring the distinction between front office and back office" in The Economist on June 5 of this year.
In a world characterized by constant change and technological progress, digitalization, increased efficiency, and competitiveness play a decisive role in a company's success.
Robotic Process Automation is becoming increasingly popular. This is reflected in worldwide sales figures.
Over the past two and a half years, the pandemic has been both a driver and a brake on innovation. On the one hand, it has played a significant role in accelerating digitization in the public sector. On the other hand, it was also a matter of stabilizing the core business.
The use of RPA and hyperautomation brings benefits such as the reduction of manual activities. Successful use is only guaranteed if business processes are analyzed, optimized and then automated.
New digital business models are emerging through the convergence of innovative automation technologies. This requires new standards in consulting, implementation and operation of RPA and hyperautomation solutions.
Artificial intelligence is supposed to support people in their professional environment and relieve them of work. However, employees often fear that computers and robots will make certain activities irrelevant.
Regularly occurring tasks are perceived by most employees as annoying compulsory tasks. As a "colleague", RPA can step in here and thus increase their motivation and consequently also customer satisfaction.
Repetitive tasks can be time consuming and are often prone to errors. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can help.
Innovative Enterprise Assistants (EA) mean central access points for SAP-based procurement, making information from various applications available and automating routine tasks.
Alexander Steiner, Chief Solution Architect at Meta Proc, enlightens about software automation.
At least 85 percent of all large companies will be using robotic process automation (RPA) by the end of 2022, according to estimates by IT analysts at Gartner. Although RPA primarily has nothing to do with process optimization, the use of software robots in SAP solutions still makes sense.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
