The Finnish chemical company Kemira has implemented one of the world's largest interface migrations to the SAP Integration Suite with "Leap". The success was based on a precise assessment, a clear roadmap, and efficient implementation.
As a start-up at the University of Karlsruhe (now KIT), Simus Systems focused as early as 2002 on the structuring, quality improvement and findability of master data originating from product development and used throughout the company via ERP.
Many SAP customers still manually or semi-automatically transfer their data to other systems for further use. Implementing automation is an investment, to be sure, but one that will pay off.
IT not as a vicarious agent, but as a process driver - with this mindset and SAP S/4 as a basis, the Weig Group has set out to master the digital transformation. One important goal: greater efficiency and transparency for business processes.
Interfaces ensure information exchange within the system landscape and externally. They are therefore critical for business processes. In the case of indirect SAP use, it is important in what form and to what extent an interface is subject to additional licensing by SAP.
Automic Software launches Continuous Delivery for SAP environments. This enables companies to automate the management of SAP test data and the execution of tests.
Many established companies face an innovation dilemma. They have to combine their proven business processes with innovative ideas and implement them quickly. How can they reconcile this with the old world? The solution is two-speed IT, or as Gartner calls it: bimodal IT.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion. 

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
