SAP-Solution: Software-as-a-Service

With the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), decision makers now have a tool for highly specific analysis from source systems in real time and across the entire value chain.

SAP has been offering its own cloud infrastructure solution for a few years now: the Hana Cloud Platform. This is a good time to take a look at the current status and area of application of the platform and to evaluate the market opportunities for both existing and new customers.

Users of the SuccessFactors HCM platform would have been happy to have a secondary provider in the first half of the year. The SuccessFactors Cloud was unavailable at times. What is a standard for hardware and services in our Group could soon also apply to software.

SAP Platform as a Service (PaaS) usage based on HCP (Hana Cloud Platform) is growing vehemently. As members of the Cloud Foundry Foundation, SAP and Suse are jointly pushing the coupling of PaaS and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service).

The most important thing about cloud computing is the protection of critical corporate data. Choosing a service provider for cloud, hosting and/or IaaS with data centers and associated infrastructure in Germany significantly reduces these security risks.
