SAP Solution: Uniserv

Although the change to S/4 is inevitable, many companies are still hesitant. One reason for avoiding the transformation could be the high number of master data with poor data quality in the various data silos.
Occasions such as a merger or acquisition, a system change, or system renewals such as the conversion to S/4 require a scrutinizing look at customer and business partner data and almost always a corresponding revision.
Through the cooperation of Uniserv and MSG, companies now have a common point of contact for technology, consulting and service.
How can companies derive a benefit from large quantities of unstructured or semi-structured customer data - for marketing campaigns, for example? That was the challenge posed by Uniserv as part of this year's Data Pitch initiative.
One for all, all for one - this motto of the four musketeers has meanwhile become established in common parlance when it comes to making it clear that "going it alone" is of no use and that success can only be achieved if several components mesh smoothly. This also applies to data quality.
The assumption that forecasts can only be as good as the data on which they are based sounds plausible. As part of a bachelor's thesis at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM), this relationship has now been empirically investigated for the first time and confirmed by means of a concrete test series.
Holger Stelz from Uniserv and analyst Wolfgang Martin show in the E-3 Inteview how companies can manage the digital transformation and get to know their customers even better with Big Data.
Companies in this country are failing in their digital transformation - in part because they are criminally neglecting one of their most valuable assets: their customer data.
Survey examined the relationship between professional customer data management and digital transformation.
