SAP-Solution: Upgrade

"Do it or don't do it. There is no try!", Yoda in the Star Wars movie "The Empire Strikes Back". When upgrading to SolMan 7.2, you also have exactly one try when activating content.

From a functional point of view, customers need not fear the change from SAP Solution Manager 7.1 to 7.2. All the functionalities of the older version will also be available in the new version and will not, as is repeatedly heard, be reserved for major customers only or be usable against additional licensing. Instead, new innovative themes and functions will be added.

As part of the maintenance strategy, I am repeatedly asked how companies should design and plan the changeover to Solution Manager 7.2.

With the new version 7.2, SAP has given Solution Manager an easier-to-use and intuitive user interface for the first time.

The switch to Hana is becoming increasingly important. IT managers should think carefully about where to start with their project.
