  Great article, the gaping hole in SAP’s Product Suite going in to 2025 is that they don’t have a Blockchain (Database) Capability.

  Every SAP Customer COE will have their core SAP Products enabling them to run their Business, the ERP S/4HANA, the BTP for User Experience, Custom Extensions, Integration, Analytics, the Ariba, the Concur, and, and, and….

  and the beauty of buying all of these Applications from SAP, is, you have 1 Vendor, 1 Invoice, 1 Phone Number to call when there is a problem, 1 Organisation to run it all.

  In the Enterprise, the SAP CCOE doesn’t need to have the overhead of dealing with other Teams, and the complexities that brings.

  Until that is, when the SAP CCOE have an Enterprise Blockchain Technology Demand.

  Then there’s a brick wall, no where to go, because SAP do not have a Blockchain (Database) Platform.

  Dear SAP, get yourself a Blockchain Platform, and ideally one that runs on the SAP BTP because due to the Proximity to the Business Processes – most are in the SAP Products, Ethnicity of the Data – most of the Data is SAP, Proximity to the Technology – most of the Technology is SAP, then the Blockchain should be on the SAP BTP.
